US LNG Export Data 2025-26: Exports by Country & Top LNG Exporters in USA
The United States has strengthened its position as a global leader in liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports. Growing liquefaction capacity, abundant domestic natural gas supplies, new LNG projects, and strong international demand have contributed to the rapid expansion of the American LNG industry. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the United States exported an average of 15.0 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) of LNG in 2025, making it the world's largest LNG exporter. U.S. LNG exports increased substantially in 2024, supported by higher production and expanded export capacity. The growth has continued into 2026. During the first six months of 2026, US LNG exports averaged 17.4 Bcf/d, 23% higher than during the same period in 2025 . EIA expects exports to remain elevated during the second half of 2026.
